Katherine Sheriff Elected to the Representative Council as a Member-at-Large with the Young Lawyers Division

Katherine Sheriff was recently elected to a 1-year term on the State Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Representative Council as a Member-at-Large. The election took place on Friday, June 9 at the State Bar of Georgia Annual Meeting. Duties of the Representatives include acting as a liaison between the YLD and the members who reside or practice law in your federal judicial district. The Representative Council also serves on YLD committees and serves as a representative at YLD meetings. Katherine will attend the annual orientation for the Representative Council and committee chairs on Friday, July 28 at the Bar Center in Atlanta.

As a law student, Katherine served as the YLD Emory Law Fellow for her graduating class. She is excited to work with the YLD in a new capacity. As a Member-at-Large, Katherine hopes to serve as a soundboard and messenger to the State Bar on behalf Georgia’s young lawyers.
