On December 8, 2016, several of us at Warshauer Woodward Atkins attended a private screening of a powerful new documentary BALANCING THE SCALES, an insightful look into the history of women lawyers, why attempts to break the glass ceiling have failed, and what can be done to change cultural attitudes preventing women from balancing the power at the top. The film included interviews with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Gloria Allred, former Georgia Supreme Court Justice Leah Ward Sears, current Georgia Supreme Court Justice Carol Hunstein and many other prominent attorneys and judges/justices. The documentary is directed and produced by a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Sharon Rowen.
