Warshauer Woodward Atkins Volunteering at WeeCycle in Denver
Jul 30, 2018

On Saturday, July 7th members of the American Association for Justice Women Trial Lawyers Caucus (WTLC) and Trial Lawyers Care (TLC) volunteered at WeeCycle in Denver, Colorado as a part of the AAJ Annual Conference. WeeCycle is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to “recycle essential baby gear and match it to Colorado families in need.” This organization was founded by two female lawyers who saw a need in the community and wanted to take action to help alleviate poverty, domestic violence, teen-pregnancy, and under-employment. Attorney Lyle Griffin Warshauer and Senior Paralegal April Bryant Swanson from the Warshauer Woodward Atkins as well as Lyle’s daughter, Abby, joined a group of attendees. The group helped by sorting clothing, inventorying diapers for distribution, and making wardrobes for kids. The volunteers also donated 130 items of baby gear, valued at over $4,000. This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local nonprofit organization and contribute to the valuable cause.
