Spring Clean Up 2020
Warshauer Woodward Atkins would like to congratulate Jeff Padget, the winner of the 2020 Spring Cleanup Nomination. As a reward for Jeff’s countless hours spent serving the community, he will receive $400 to help fund his own spring cleanup project. Here is what Jeff had to say about winning the nomination:
“I was raised in Mableton. I moved back 12 years ago to take care of my grandmother. I joined Floyd Road Baptist Church and met a beautiful woman and married her. After my grandmother passed we bought her house. My uncle was always involved in the community. He was the founder of the boys and girls club of Mableton.
I always looked up to him, so I started helping low income families by cutting and trimming grass, and doing some painting on the front. I did this for a few years until I went to a community meeting and learned about the Mableton Improvement Coalition. This is a community group that helps people in Mableton. I joined them and now I serve on the board. I got involved in the Adopt-A-Mile program and later on became the coordinator of Floyd Road. I now have four different roads. Lisa Cupid then asked me to represent District 4 and serve on the board of Keep Cobb Beautiful. I love my community and the people here in Mableton. I love to make things look better. I am so honored to have received this award. I’m thankful for all the volunteers that have helped me.”
