WLG COVID-19 Protocol

WLG COVID-19 Protocol
Jun 8, 2020

First and foremost, the safety and health of our employees, clients and visitors
is of utmost importance here at Warshauer Woodward Atkins. As such, we are currently
encouraging the use of video conferencing for all meetings, depositions, mediations,
etc. In the event that in-person meetings are necessary, we are requiring everyone
who enters our office to follow the protocol listed below to ensure a safe environment
for employees and visitors.

EMPLOYEES AND VISITORS MUST ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING:

  • If you do not feel well, STAY HOME and do not enter our building!
  • If you have a fever, STAY HOME and do not enter our building! If you have any
doubt about whether or not you have a fever, please have your temperature
checked at the front desk with the infrared (touchless) thermometer.
  • If you know you have been around anyone in the last 14 days that has tested
positive for the virus, DO NOT ENTER OUR OFFICE FOR 14 DAYS.
  • Use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the building. A bottle of hand
sanitizer will be located by the entrance.
  • Everyone must wear a face covering while in the common areas and
bathrooms. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own face covering, but
disposable masks will be located just inside the entrance for those who do not.
  • Maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet at all times.
  • All guests will be immediately taken to a conference room. The length of
meetings should be minimized to reduce potentially dangerous exposures.
  • No more than 4 people in the small conference room at one time, but this might
be less because of spacing requirements if the users are not living together.
  • Employees and visitors (except those who are living together) must ensure a
safe distance between each other by using the six-foot yardstick that is on the
table. If the room has more than three occupants all must wear masks. When
    in doubt, wear a mask!
  • No more than 6 people in the large conference room at one time but this might
be less because of spacing requirements if the users are not living together.
This might limit the number of family members that can attend a meeting.

  • Guests are asked to not leave the conference room except to use the
    restrooms.
  • No visitors are allowed upstairs.

EMPLOYEE-ONLY PROTOCOLS:

  • Staggered return dates for firm employees – the paralegals and attorneys will
coordinate to make sure there are no more than 6 employees upstairs in the
building at one time. This will be coordinated with the Witt firm too.
  • Employees must clean the kitchen surfaces – counter, refrigerator handle, sink
faucets, coffee pot, etc. after each use.
  • Employees are encouraged to clean and sanitize their desk, phone, and
    workspace every day.
  • Wash your hands with soap every time you enter the common areas.
  • If a conference room is needed, the user must make a reservation on the firm
calendar and let people in the office know of the expected use of the room.
  • If a guest needs to use the restroom or other public area, it is the responsibility
of the employee meeting with the guest to sanitize the restroom after each use.
(Wipe down faucet handles, toilet handles, doorknob, etc.) Disinfectant wipes
are to be used for this kind of wipe down.
  • Once a guest leaves the office, the employee who met with the guest(s) must
wipe down the conference room table, the chair(s) used, the conference room
doorknob, etc. Spray disinfectant and paper towels for this purpose are located
    in each conference room.
  • No more than 2 people in a private office at one time unless safe spacing is
certain. The length of in-person meetings should be minimized.
  • Employees must clean and sanitize any general office items after each use,
such as copiers, hole punchers, staplers, etc.
