What are the biggest challenges you face in handling medical malpractice cases? Video Transcript

Sometimes the most challenging part is really finding a way to explain the medicine to folks. People come in for a jury trial, they got their jury summons, and they showed up that day hoping to be in and out, maybe in a day or two. However, many medical malpractice cases take a week, two weeks, sometimes three. Being able to take this information and explain it in a way that’s palatable for regular people, such as plumbers, homemakers, and teachers, is crucial. It involves breaking down complex medical issues and making them understandable to a jury. I find joy in the process of teaching and simplifying even very complicated medicine or science.
