The Atlanta Journal and Constitution Addresses Attacks Made at Senior Living Facilities in Georgia
Oct 7, 2019

The Atlanta Journal and Constitution is doing an extremely informative investigative series on senior care facilities in Georgia. The Series titled, Unprotected: Broken Promises in Georgia’s Senior Care Industry is worth everyone reading, but especially if you have elderly folks in your family. Among the stories covered in the series, are resident attacks that occur at these facilities, the haphazard reporting system and inspection system that leaves consumers with confusing incomplete information, and one facility that has 20 resident deaths linked to violations at Georgia senior care homes.

What the Warshauer Woodward Atkins Stands For

At Warshauer Woodward Atkins, we have experience pursuing claims for families who have been injured in senior care facilities. In our work we’ve found that these facilities are often understaffed, the staff who are present are often poorly trained and they are also poorly supervised. This is often a recipe for disaster that leads to some of our most vulnerable Georgians being injured and neglected. If you believe a family member has been a victim of such neglect and has suffered injuries as a result, please give us a call for a free consultation.
